Does anyone know anything about a New Hampshire state quarter with no mint stamped on it?

I have a New Hampshire state "face" quarter with no obvious mint stamped on it (either a P or a D). Other than the missing mint mark, it's complete in every way. I know that coins with with errors are often more valuable. What's the story with this?

Sounds like the die may have had a bit of grease where the mint mark was. This is not uncommon, make sure there are no scratches where the mint mark was for it could have been removed by a skillful person. It has a small added value if a filled die error, that is grease or part of a rag. The mint mark is under "In God We Trust" on the George side (obverse). You can try a few local coin dealers for value. I have several state quarters missing different letters on one the we in God we trust is missing. It may be worth a couple of dollars. They are not rare.
