I have never heard of that. As far as I know you have two choices: 1.)seal up ALL entrance holes where they come inand

2.) set traps to catch and kill intruders.

For me I would choose #1 but would include #2 as backup and when no more get trapped it says you have the house mouse proofed. If you use traps try the new type that are a gray plastic and you just have to press the back plate to set and also release any mice that are caught. No spring loaded and sometimes messy old wooden traps.

Good luck- it may take some detective work to find all the entrance holes. Start looking where the electric, water, and gas lines come in. Seal with expanding foam if you can.
Reply:Not that I know of, find the hole that they are using %26amp; place steel wool (the stuff you clean your pots with) in the hole (the mice can't chew through the steel mesh).
Reply:Yes. Mint repells them. But a hungry mouse is not going to be that bothered.

Remove the food they're getting into. Put dry goods in glass jars, or other containers they can't gnaw into. There are live traps you can use if you don't want to kill them.
