What kind of mint can be used in brewed tea?

I had some along time ago at a baby shower I was at. It was sooooo good! Can anyone tell me how to make it and what kind of mint leaves to use and where I can find them? Thanks! :)

You can buy fresh mint in the produce section of your supermarket. It would be with the rest of the fresh herbs. Mint is mint, there is not special kind.

Enjoy
Reply:there are many kinds of mint ,there are four main ones that are cultivated for drinking as tea .

peppermint /spearmint/pineapple mint and apple mint

and 2 mainly for making oil for flavoring.

spearmint and peppermint.

I prefer peppermint and it is what I grow in my garden.

you can buy mint tea in your grocery, celestial seasonings carries a nice one.

id suggest that if you have a place to plant it ,come spring buy yourself a couple plants and start your own. theyre easy to care for and grow like weeds !

I started out with 3 rootlettes from my mommas garden 3 years ago and have a whole bed of it now, it spreads like crazy,I harvest it twice during the summer and have enough to last the rest of the year.

Reply:Just the mint you buy in the fresh herb section of the produce dept of a groceyr store, usually in little clear flat packs.
