Does anyone know of a mint candy sold at wal-mart?

A few years back in the candy section of Wal-Mart around Christmas time there were these little oval shapped mint candies that were mint on the outside with creamy choclate on the inside. The outer shell was a white color. The wrapper was green and silver I could not find them anywhere else at the time and now cannot even find them at wal-mart. Does anyone know what the name of these mints are or where you can get somthing like them?

Here's what I know about the candy you're looking for:

There is one type of this candy called a "chocolate lentil," which is a chocolate center covered with a hard-candy coating. Sometimes the coating is plain, and sometimes it's mint-flavored. Jelly Belly makes a mini version of this that you might like.

Also, I know of a candy called Fusion Gourmet that makes a hard-shelled candy that is filled with chocolate. It comes in several flavors, including mint. These are individually wrapped, and I imagine they're the closest thing to what you want.

I suggest, when you can't find something, that you go to images.yahoo.com or images.google.com, and search for what you're looking for, in your case, "chocolate mint candy." Then you will see a bunch of pics as results, so you can see what you're searching for, rather than looking at text.

Another trick for this. You will get a lot of unwanted results, like images of phones, ice cream and such. The way you exclude results you don't want in a search (on google anyway) is to put a "-" (a dash) in front of each word you don't want. So, if you don't want phones and ice cream to show up in your results, you type in "mint chocolate candy -ice -phone" You can do this same trick in regular text searches too.

Regarding the specific candy you want, it's hard to say. Companies come and go; Wal-mart may decide not to do business with a company for any number of reasons. I used to get a Hanukkah candy gift box at Walmart, but they quit selling it about 3 years ago--I noticed that about 3 or 4 years ago, Wally stopped selling the huge assortment of holiday candies, and now it sticks to major brands, like Hershey. I can still get the candy at Cost Plus Imports/World Market.

If you have a Cost Plus or World Market in your area, I suggest you check there, as they carry a large variety of holiday candies.
