I have a credit card and need to put money into a bank current account. Is there a way to do this without withdrawing cash (which I will have to pay interest on the transaction).

Unfortunately you can't do this without incurring the charge- stops people from taking zero percent cards out and earning interest in bank accounts - is a shame.
Reply:no - there is no direct transfer. All you can do is withdraw the cash or write a credit card cheque.
