How do I take care of my mint plant?
in the uk where i live mint grows best in the worst condition soil it will take some cold weather if you put it close to the house but appart from that buy fresh from the store

just give it water and light and it'll grow
Reply:Mint is really hardy - in a protected area near the house it can stay green all winter (we have temps that have dropped to -29). Even with a die back during winter it will sprout again in the spring - as a matter of fact you will probably have trouble containing it after a few years as it sends out root runners all over the place.
