What does mint jelly go with?

I was wondering if it went on crackers, bread, or what? Does it go well with tea? Does it even taste good at all? Tell me what you know cuz I know nothing about it.

What does mint jelly go with?
I've only had it with lamb...
Reply:Nothing! But it is classically served with lamb. originally it was used to cover up the strong flavor or mutton.
Reply:I always use it with lamb - leg of lamb or chops! But it's actually good with cheese and crackers also. So I'm sure it would go with biscuits as well. I like Swiss cheese with it, but my brother likes sharp cheddar cheese with the mint jelly.
Reply:Usually with lamb.
Reply:For dessert, you could try it combined with chocholate ice cream. For main course i suggest (clasically) with grilled lamb. The chefs often reccommend lamb with mint
Reply:pork loin or lamb
Reply:Lamb.And that's all I know.
Reply:Although primarily used with lamb, mint jelly can also be put into stews and casseroles. Adding chopped jalapenos to the jelly makes a good glaze for baked pork loin.
Reply:It's pretty tasty with peanut butter
