And surprise surprise, she doesnt list a return policy.
The product was 5 dollars but the shipping was around 11. So even if she said I could return it without shipping, I have to pay ANOTHER 11 dollars, which means Im another 11 in the whole all for 5 bucks?
WHat would you guys do? What are my options? Chances are she will just ignore my mail anyway.
What can I do if an item on ebay is listed MINT but infact has scratches and possible paint on it?
It's probably not worth the hassle of trying to return it. If she was deceptive about the condition in the first place, I doubt she'll be very receptive to helping with it's return. Unfortunately, some sellers are just idiots like that.
Like others have said, there is the retaliation feedback to consider if you leave negative. You could always leave positive, but put negative comments within. That way, it won't affect her rating, but others can read the comments and be aware.
Reply:give them NEGATIVE FEEDBACK
Reply:If you paid for the item under paypal. Login to your paypal acct and open a dispute. or if you paid via another method then file a dispute under ebay. and ask for a partial refund. GoodLuck
Reply:not a lot you can do. Even if you leave the seller a negative feedback, they will retaliate against you and give YOU negative feedback, even if you upheld your end of the bargain financially.
Since shipping costs as much or more than the item is worth, you may be stuck with it.
Reply:Im sorry, that sucks. Unfortunatly there a lot of shady sellers on ebay. Is it a popular item? If so, think about selling it yourself, but list it HONESTLY, unlike your 'wonderful' seller did. You may not get everything back, but atleast you should get some, and ofcourse your s%26amp;h too! You never know, you might even get more than what you spent.
Good luck. =D
Edit, I agree with P S, dont bother giving them negative feedback. Just leave that alone, unless you want to get one too. Thats just how people there are.
Reply:You can contact the seller and if they don't cooperate take them to court for false advertising as well as bearing false statements
