I thought the colour I put on my bedroom walls would be pastel green, but as it turns out it is more a mint green. It doesn't match the curtains and duvet covers that I bought last week and I think it is easier to buy new duvet covers and curtains rather than to paint again. Which colour(s) would you chose to go with mint green walls?
Which colours complement mint green?
go to www.dulux.co.uk they have a section where you can chose a colour and they will give you lots of complimentary colours for it.
Reply:chocolate brown
Reply:White. You can't go wrong. x
Reply:white %26amp; brown go with mint green...but i must admit, if i were you...i would change the wall colour..rather than change the bedding %26amp; curtains.

Reply:why don't you get a few tester pots on a few choices you think would complement your mint green? they are really cheap and you will get a better idea once you've applied it on the wall and they've dried, then go and buy the colour you like best?
Reply:cream or white.
Reply:Biscuit colour. Not too deep a shade. Should tone down the mint green a bit. All the creams will end up looking wishy-washy and other colours can easily clash and you will need sunglasses in bed!
Reply:lavender...or maroon...or mango
Reply:Hunters Green, and Mauve,or light pink. That's my bedrooms color. Three walls are the mint, one wall is Hunter Green, The Molding is Antique White. The carpet is Light Pink/Mauve.
Reply:Chocolate brown
maybe anaother brighter tone of green like turquoise but not too bluey.
Creams and Lemons

Reply:(Well, if you look, Yahoo Answers colors has a mint-green kind of look!)
I think yellow or possibly a pink would go with it.
Reply:If it was me, I would opt for a very dark shade of green like forest green. Using shades of the same colour in one room can look very effective.
Reply:We have mint green on 1 wall behind our bed, the others are brilliant white. In the windows we put the really cheap bamboo blinds and really soft white voile. My hubby thinks its 2 girly but i love it, it makes me feel as though im in a hotel in some far away land.
Reply:another shade of green,
pinks
cream
white
pale blue
lilac
Reply:i'd personally love deep purple (any shade of purple for that matter) or even dark blue. however, the opposite of green is red...so perhaps try a deeper red....even burgandy or maroon to offset the green. :)
Reply:Do not go for orange or yellow with mint green! lol
Go for a natural brown shade, navy or lilac even deep purple to create a cool earthy effect.
Just please dont do green with yellow or orange! x
Reply:Black/grey
Reply:Yellow.
Stay far away from mint green carpets. It shows stains more than any other color.
Reply:A nice royal blue or deep purple. MAYBE even a rich red if you're that bold.
Reply:You cannot go wrong with black or white
Reply:marigold orange
or
daisy yellow
Reply:Peach goes nicely with mint. :)
Reply:Dusty pink
