My son (5 yr) can not tolerate any mint flavours. We have tried so many different toothpastes but there are none that he will use. His baby teeth are rotting because we cant clean them well enough. Is there a toothpaste that he can use that will work?
Is there a toothpaste that doesn't have the hot mint taste?
there are children pastes that are bubble gum flavored but it sounds to me like he needs a trip to the dentist. he needs to be evaluated to see what needs to be done for his decay problem before it affects his adult teeth and before he begins to have tremendous pain. the dentist can also give you some home flouride to use that will help you protect your son's teeth that comes in easy to tolerate flavors.
Reply:Does he not like the toddler pastes that are out by Oral B? No mint usually fruit flavors. Crest also has one called Lemon Ice. No mint there either.
Reply:I am a dental assistant and his baby teeth are rotting because you dont clean them enough. mom and dad should supervise brushing all the way up to about 7-8 years old. colgate makes watermelon toothpaste and its tasty! if your babies teeth are rotting i urge you to get them to the dentist preferably a pediatric one. the adult dentists like to pull out baby teeth! they need them to eat! and your last baby tooth is lost at about 12-14
Reply:oooo, theres this new signal (thats the brand) toothpaste it has no mint just chocolate, orange and lemon flavours, why dont you try it?
its sounds good
i hope this helps
