You will probably see it start sprouting in 3 or 4 days.
Good Luck! :)
I have planted some mint indoors in a pot. How long will it take for the mint to germinate?
Mint seeds should germinate in about a week. There are two key factors to germinate any seed: warmth and water. Keep the soil moist by misting everyday. And keep the pot in a warm place. Sunlight is not necessary until the seeds actually germinate. At that point, put the pot in a south window for best light exposure.
Reply:I haven't seen mint used as an indoor plant before. I don't know if this is going to work.
If I had some mint in a container I would move it outside. Actually I would probably plant it in the ground near the outside water spigot. Mint likes a lot of water and it enjoys being right near your water hose so that everytime you turn on the water, it gets dripped on.
Reply:In a short time, but if they are going outdoors they will spread rapidly and is hard to control, but they smell great around the house.
